Celebrating Design Pioneers Salon Dinner

World Interaction Design Day is an annual event hosted by Adobe to foster a global community of designers and show how interaction design improves the human condition. We were tasked with producing the 2018 event around the theme of Diversity and Inclusion in Design.

For too long, the face of design has been straight, white and male. We chose to focus the 2018 edition on those inspiring thinkers from minorities who have been historically overlooked. To that end, we picked some of our favorite unheralded designers of the past and designed the entire night around celebrating their contributions. Below are some of my favorite elements we made.
